90 minut po zapowiedzi nowego albumu materiał ujrzał światło dzienne!
Lider Radiohead (wraz z producentem Nigelem Godrichem) zapowiedział w liscie otwartym swój nowy solowy album, pt. „Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes”, 90 minut później album trafił do serwisu torrentowego BitTorrent. Longplay promuje teledysk do utworu „A Brain In A Bottle”. Jak wiadomo Radiohead bojkotuje serwisy streamingowe typu Spotify czy Wimp, propozycja Yorke’a jest alternatywą dla wymienionych koncernów. Album w wersji cyfrowej kosztuje 6$, wersja vinylowa to koszt 30£.

Zespół Radiohead również wrócił do prób i prac nad nowymi utworami o czym w lipcu informował Johnny Grennwood, zaś 6 października ukaże się solowa płyta perkusisty Radiohead Phila Selwaya zatytułowana „Weatherhouse”.
